Waya Lailai Island has a white sand beach, swaying coconut palms and steep forest-coated terrain that rises up to the most magnificent rock formations. The resort looks out across cobalt blue channel to Kuata Island, which mirrors Waya Lailai in appearance.
A highlight among visitors to this island is the hike to the summit. The sunrise and sunset hikes include a bit of adventure as you make your way through the trees, scrubs and boulders in the dark! It sure is worth it though. The view of the sun rising or setting over the islands beyond is a picture that will last you a lifetime!
The resort itself sits up on the hillside; a stone’s throw from the beach. This elevation gives you views out across the channel to Kuata Island. The accommodation ranges from Fijian-style bures to a lodge room and a dorm. The rooms at Wayalailai Ecohaven Resort are all basic, but perfect for the independent or backpacker traveller.
 Dining is all part of the fun, with a large outdoor deck area to take in the views whilst enjoying your meal or sipping an ice cold drink. The beautiful beach is a short stroll below.
In addition to the summit walk, Wayalailai offers a wide variety of land and marine activities including diving, kayaking and snorkelling. Or perhaps you’d just prefer to laze for hours on the gorgeous beach and top up the tan!
