Itinerary:

Days 1 & 2

Join fellow travellers and cruise on board our famous Yellow Boat, the ‘Yasawa Flyer’, to the southernmost islands of the Yasawa chain. Stunning monolithic mountains with sheer rock peaks, beautiful greenery and golden sand beaches dominate these islands. Activities vary depending on where you stay and can include summit walks, reef snorkelling, guided kayaking or swimming with sharks and manta rays (depending on the season).

If you stay at 1 coconut level, you can choose to do two of the following activities: a guided summit walk; reef snorkelling/swim with the sharks trip; a guided kayaking trip. If you stay at Mantaray, you can enjoy a sunset tube cruise!

Days 3 & 4

Jump back on the Yasawa Flyer for a mid-morning transfer to your next dose of Fijian paradise. White Sandy and Korovou share the same beach and beautiful bay, sitting just a short walk from each other. The 3 coconut option, Botaira, has a stunning location all to itself – nothing to be seen but turquoise ocean, white sand beach, forest and sky. All three accommodation options are Fijian family-run properties where you’ll feel at home with the staff. Relaxation is the name of the game here – lie on your beach towel or hammock, read or snooze, sip on a beer or wine. But if you insist on being active, there is plenty on offer!

UPGRADE TO FULL MONTY TO INCLUDE:
Experience the awe-inspiring feeling of swimming with manta rays (May to October). Or from November to April, enjoy a snorkelling trip by boat to fantastic Fijian reef sites. If you’re staying at Korovou, you can also take part in a Fijian cooking lesson.

Day 5

Cruise up the Northern Yasawas to the stunning Blue Lagoon region. You may recognise the aqua and turquoise waters from the famous Brooke Shields movie ‘The Blue Lagoon’. Enjoy the island walks, magnificent beaches and spectacular coral. Hit the beach at sunset and watch for the flying fish. This is Fiji paradise!

Day 6

Snorkel in Fiji’s famous Blue Lagoon or enjoy a fantastic trip to the Sawailau Caves where a short underwater swim takes you into a surreal underground cavern. The scenery on the trip out to the cave is unforgettable. The rest of the day is yours to chill out and do as you please. Feeling more adventurous? Why not upgrade to a Guided Jet Ski trip to the caves?

Unless you already did this on Day 5, you can choose to do two activities: the Sawailau Caves Trip; a snorkelling trip by boat to awesome reef sites; or a 30 minute island massage (massage not available at Gold Coast Resort).

Day 7

Alas, today it’s time to depart the Yasawas and return to Nadi. You’ll have the morning for relaxing, snorkelling, kayaking – doing what you please for your last day in the Yasawas. You’ll then board the Flyer for the scenic cruise back down through the spectacular Yasawa Islands and then through the tiny Mamanuca islands. It’s a view to remember.

NOTES:

Choose which level of accommodation you wish to stay in for the duration of the package. For example, if you choose 1 coconut, you will stay at the 1 coconut accommodation options for the whole package. Of course, you can upgrade/downgrade while in the Yasawas, but a surcharge will apply.

1 COCONUT: Dorms and Bures. Accommodation is basic. If you need a hair dryer this is not for you. But the scenery and staff are simply amazing!

2 COCONUT: Dorms and Bures. More modern accommodation, but still with a strong Fijian feel.

1 COCONUT: Bures only. More ‘resort’ in style with all the modern facilities.

Meals are included in the 1 coconut package rates. With the 2 coconut package FJD$174 is to be paid directly to the resort when at Mantaray (this is why the 2 coconut dorm rate looks cheaper than 1 coconut - not all meals are included). Meals are not included in 3 coconut packages.
