Learn from the experts at Barefoot Manta Island Resort
Barefoot Manta Island Resort features a Marine Centre full of aquariums & rock pools used for conservation, research, and educational purposes. The Marine Centre has its own qualified Marine Biologist, who’ll explain how it’s used in relation to marine life living off Barefoot Manta’s beachfront. You’ll learn the importance of coral to the overall marine ecosystem and crazy facts relating to marine life e.g. Nemo’s sex change antics and how barnacle genitalia size to body mass is the largest in the animal kingdom. Following the presentation, the marine biologist will take you on a guided snorkeling safari to see aspects of the marine science discussed including a visit to Barefoot Manta’s very own coral growing nursery.
