Bookings Awesome Adventures Fiji

1. Package prices are per person. Prices listed as 'Twin/Double' are per person based on 2 people booking & sharing a room or bure, Triple is based on 3 people booking & sharing a room.
   • 1a. Fiji Government Tax: All prices include 25% Fiji Government taxes & levies (9% VAT + 6% Service Turnover + 10% Environment & Climate Adaptation Levy).
   • 1b. Child Prices: This can vary from Resort to Resort therefore all child prices are on application through Awesome Adventures reservations team in Fiji.
2. Bonus offers: Bonus offers are only available when booking an Island Escape package for a minimum of 4 nights and NOT any other package or custom made itinerary.
3. Meal Costs: - Where an additional price is shown under "meals" these are compulsory meal plan prices as provided by the hotels. These are per person per package and must either be paid at the time of booking or upon check in at the hotels in Fiji. All meal prices are Net Non-Commissionable. Prices shown under 'Meals' are per person per night (or per package) and include 3 meals per day stayed unless otherwise stated. The meal package is compulsory and must be taken as there are no alternative dining places. Rates are correct at time of issue and are subject to change. Where meals are listed as included, your clients will receive 3 meals per day stayed. Meal supplements are subject to change.
4. Freesale: "Bookings" for 1 and 2 Coconut Awesome Packages are available on Freesale however the exact "Itinerary / Accommodation" will be confirmed within 48hrs of receipt of the booking.
   • 4a. The following packages can be sold on 45 Day release for travel in Jun, Jul, Aug & Sep and 14 day release the remainder of the year; Island Time, Coconut Cruiser, Fiji Discovery, Tropical Island Explorer,
   • 4b. Bula Pass can be freesold up to 5 days prior to travel year round
   • 4c. Awesome (Bula Combo) Pass can be freesold 14 up to days prior to travel year-round. Please note that hotels / resorts booked with passes are still subject to availability at time of booking.
5. Right to vary: Any necessary changes will be advised prior to travel - as most of the Hotels / Resorts featured in our packages are small they are at times full. When this is the case we reserve the right to substitute a similar Hotel / Resort of a similar standard and/or reverse the order of the brochured itinerary.
6. Open dated bookings are only for 1 and 2 Coconut Hotels / Resorts and available for travel until the end of this contract travel period (a new season's price surcharge will be charged for travel past this date). Bookings must be confirmed with Awesome Adventures Fiji at least 14 days prior to arrival in Fiji to limit/avoid changes to the brochured itinerary or Hotels / Resorts in that package.
7. 'Full Monty' Add-on's include activities that are identified under the 'Full Monty' inclusions section for each package. Full Monty Activities are subject to sea and weather conditions - Awesome Adventures Fiji reserves the right to substitute Full Monty activities with other products if the listed activity is unavailable.
8. Booking and Cancellation Policy: Bookings will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. We will not regard a booking as cancelled unless and until written notice is received by us from your clients or someone acting on your client’s authority.
   • 8a. No refunds will be issued for unused days on the Passes nor for any unused components of the Packages (including unused Full Monty Activities) unless cancellation of vessel services by the Operator, for reasons other than those stated in point 7, prevents the product fulfilment. No refunds will be issued for any part of the Awesome (Bula Combo) Pass once travel on the Pass has commenced.
   • 8b. Packages, Island Escapes, Welcome & Departure Packs. Cancellation fees apply on the total package price: Less than 7 day’s notice - 100% Less than 14 day’s notice - 50% Less than one months’ notice - 25%
   • 8c. Bula Passes. No cancellation fee applies until the first day of reserved travel. However, in the event of a No Show on the first day of reserved travel a 100% No Show fee applies. No refund applies on any unused portion after commencement of travel.
   • 8d. Awesome (Bula Combo) Passes. Cancellation fees apply only to any pre-booked accommodation: No show - 100% Less than 7 days’ notice - 100% Less than 14 days’ notice - 50% Less than one months’ notice - 25% Lost Awesome Passes will result in the holder paying the accommodation direct to the resort for the night specified on the lost voucher.
   • 8e. Transfers Only. Cancellation fees apply to any pre-booked transfers: Cancellation fees apply to unused components prior to the original date of travel. Within 24 hours 100%. No Show 100% No residual refunds for unused components after travel has commenced. Re-issue documents to other South Sea Cruises services - no fee.
9. Amendment Policy:
   • 9a. Packages, Island Escapes, Awesome (Bula Combo) Pass, Welcome & Departure Packs. Please note that amendment fees will be additional to any amendment/cancellation fees imposed by the resort(s) affected. Change of booking within 24 hours of travel, including after travel has commenced will incur a FJ$100 amendment fee More than 24 hours’ notice FJ$25 More than 1 months’ notice prior to commencement of travel no charge.
   • 9b. Bula Pass. No amendment fee applies prior to travel as the Pass is not activated until the first day of travel. Any amendments made after travel commences will incur a FJ$25 amendment fee.
   • 9c. Bula Pass & Awesome (Bula Combo) Pass. The passes can be extended anytime during travel but prior to expiry by paying the price difference up to the longer Pass of your client’s choice. This can be done at the Travel Desk onboard the Yasawa Flyer. Please note an amendment fee of FJ$25 applies.
10. Liability: Where another company or persons operate the tour, activity or excursion, diving, accommodation or shore transfers Awesome Adventures is only acting as a Sales Agent. Responsibility for the operation and liability for any mishap lies with those operators solely and not with Awesome Adventures Fiji. Awesome Adventures Fiji is not responsible for missed flights or any associated expenses due to late arrival at check-in counter.
11. Visa Requirements: It is the responsibility of all guests travelling with Awesome Adventures Fiji to check and adhere to Fiji's visa requirements.
12. Travel Insurance: There are no medical facilities in the Yasawas so if any medical problem arises your clients will need to return to Nadi. If your clients develop a serious medical problem your clients will most likely want to leave Fiji for Australia, New Zealand or home. There is also a higher degree of risk in public areas, on local vessels etc. Sea conditions and sometimes cyclones can prevent travel on the booked dates as well.
    • 12a. It is therefore an essential condition of travelling with Awesome Adventures Fiji that your clients have a valid travel insurance policy to cover the cost of any emergency medical treatment or accident and to protect your clients holiday payments in the event of cancellation and/or delays. Awesome Adventures Fiji has insurance cover available with a leading insurer of adventure style travel which can be taken out at time of booking.
13. Reconfirmation & check-in: If not booked locally all bookings should be reconfirmed with our office the day before departure - phone Awesome Adventures Fiji +679 675 0499.
    • 13a. In Fiji if your clients' like to speed things up and avoid the queues on the morning of their departure then they are most welcome to check in at our Port Denarau counter the day prior any time after 9:30am. Your clients will be given all the necessary documents/vouchers so that they can board the vessel directly the next day. Please advise them to take good care of their vouchers as these are required by each hotel / resort & tour operator.
14. Complimentary coach transfers to/from Port Denarau Marina are provided by Awesome Adventures Fiji to/from most Nadi, Denarau & Wailoaloa area hotels / resorts as well as from Nadi Airport. Clients must book in advance. Please note, there is only one coach returning to hotels / resorts in the Wailoaloa area and to Nadi Airport, departing Denarau each afternoon at approximately 6:15pm. Please note that no refunds are available on any subsequent services if client(s) fail to board the courtesy coach from their pre-booked pick up location.
15. The 'Bula Pass' and 'Awesome (Bula Combo) Passes' are valid for the period shown on your clients Pass. If your clients are still travelling outside the date of their Pass, they will be charged the normal fare for the sector travelled
    • 15a. Any pass being used by a person other than the owner will be confiscated and the balance of its use will be forfeited.
    • 15b. If your clients would like to pre-book their Awesome (Bula Combo) accommodation prior to arrival into Fiji, then any pre-booked accommodation is subject to the cancellation fees listed above.
    • 15c. Lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced 'Bula Pass' and/or ' Awesome (Bula Combo) Pass' vouchers will not be replaced.
16. Coconut Grading
    • 16a. One Coconut Grading: Dorm and bures. These are basic rooms with minimal in room facilities. In general, there is no hot water supply however the local water supply is tepid. Electricity is available but generally not available 24 hours per day. Usually no air con but rooms have ceiling or oor mounted fans. You will need to bring your own towel, soap and toiletries. Meals are included in the price and are generally a set meal at a set time. All are managed by Yasawan Fijians who love hosting your clients and sharing their lives with their guests.
    • 16b. Two Coconut Grading: Dorm and bures. A higher standard of both dorm and bure accommodation and general resort facilities. Situated on beautiful beaches and managed locally with a strong Fijian flavour. Room facilities will be fan-cooled with some also having air-con. Always. Wi-Fi will generally be available in public areas. Meal Plans are compulsory and are available for purchase with your package.
    • 16c. Please note that Oarsman’s Bay does not accept cash, all transactions must be paid via credit card.
17. An administration fee of 3% is applied to all credit card transactions.
18. Awesome Adventures Fiji reserves the right to cancel departures, alter prices, apply a fuel surcharge, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services as necessary. All transfers are subject to sea and weather conditions and operational requirements. Should adverse conditions prevent operation the client is responsible at their own cost for their own additional accommodation wherever it may be and/or alternative travel arrangements not organised by the Company. Awesome Adventures Fiji shall be the sole judge of when vessels should not operate under this clause.
19. Age and medical restrictions apply to any diving activities. A medical questionnaire must be completed by the Company operating the Dive. Divers cannot y for 24 hours after diving and the company accepts no liability for medical conditions experienced as a result of flying after diving.
20. Awesome Adventures Fiji is a trading brand of South Sea Cruises Limited, a Company incorporated in Fiji.
