If you already have your accommodation sorted, booking transfers for your Yasawa Islands holiday is simple with Awesome Adventures Fiji. Transfers onboard our high-speed catamaran, depart out of Port Denarau and travel through the Yasawa Islands and back each day, stopping off to pick up and drop off guests as we go. 

Resort Transfers are perfect for travellers staying at a single resort but if you have multiple reports booked, our Bula Pass is the best option.

Yasawa Flyer III at Blue Lagoon

Yasawa Flyer

  • The Yasawa Flyer, owned and run by our sister company, South Sea Cruises, is a brand new (launched in August 2025), 320 seat high-speed catamaran with air-conditioned areas, a tour desk, licenced bar, a food and beverage kiosk, and outdoor viewing decks
  • The Yasawa Flyer departs at 8.45am each morning from Port Denarau heading north to the Yasawa Islands stopping at South Sea Island (in the Mamanuca Islands) on the way.
  • On the journey north through the Yasawa Islands, the vessel picks up and drops off travellers at tropical island resorts with tenders (small motorised boats), motoring out to meet the Yasawa Flyer and transfer guests to/from the resorts
  • The northernmost stop is the famous Blue Lagoon and from there we head south again, arriving back at Port Denarau at around 6.00pm
  • There is an option to upgrade to the Captain’s Lounge (for an additional price) for private air-conditioned lounge access that seats up to 30 people with a designated host, and complimentary snacks and beverages (including house wine and local beer). Ask at the check in counter for availability

FUEL SURCHARGE IN EFFECT – UPDATED MONDAY 1ST OF JANUARY 2024

South Sea Cruises currently has a fuel surcharge to take effect for customers travelling with us on a resort transfer as well as applicable day trips. 

South Sea Cruises also notes that since setting the 2023/24 transfer rates, the Fiji Government has removed the 10c per litre duty concession which South Sea Cruises had factored into our rates at the time of issue and has now had to absorb. 

The applicable fuel surcharges in effect for travel as of Friday, 1st December 2023 are as follows:

  • Awesome Adventures Fiji Package or Pass customers – $15 per person. 
  • Resort Transfer only customers travelling to/from all Yasawa Island Resorts (including Vomo) – $15 per adult/$7.50 per child (2-15 years only) for each one-way sector. 

All fuel surcharges stated are in FJD and include applicable taxes.

As at x.xxam this morning, South Sea Cruises/Awesome Adventures Fiji continue to monitor the various weather models including the Fiji Met who have issued a Heavy Rain Warning for the whole of the Fiji Group. This heavy rain warning coupled with what is expected to be rough seas has resulted in some disruption to our services. 

Resort Transfer services to the Yasawa Islands are cancelled today in the interest of customer and crew safety. We ask all customers for their patience and understanding in this regard.

POTENTIAL FOR DISRUPTION TO OUR SERVICES

Tuesday 27th January 2026 – 4.00pm

Bula,

A Strong Wind Alert has been issued by Fiji Met due to Tropical Disturbance TD07F which is expected to intensify to the northeast of Fiji over the next 24-48 hours. While not expected to directly impact Fiji, strong winds and rough seas may affect northern Mamanuca and Yasawa waters from late Wednesday through Thursday. Small boat transfers may be limited, relocated, or suspended at short notice where conditions are deemed unsafe. All services are currently operating as scheduled and conditions are under ongoing review, with further updates to be provided if required. 

As it stands, all SSCG vessel services and island operations continue to operate as scheduled. The next review will be tomorrow (Wednesday) and an advisory will be issued on / or around 7.30am if need be.
