Why should I travel in one direction throughout the islands?

The reason we recommend you travel in one direction (south to north or reverse) is so you maximise your time on each island. The Yasawa Flyer vessel travels north up the chain of islands in the morning, stopping off at each resort and back south, down the chain of resorts - again stopping off at each of them - in the afternoon. If you were to jump from south to north, back south, and then north again, you'd find you're spending more time on the Yasawa Flyer than at the beach!
